Unit 7 Test scores are in gradebook. Overall, I am pleased with your performance, however, many of us could be putting in more time. I do not believe a lot of reading is going on on your own and that is going to catch up with us. Also, we need to get used to studying through 'retrieval practice."
To keep us honest in our reading and get used to the idea of retrieval practice, we will be doing READING QUIZZES for every module - check out the calendar to see what dates these fall on. The quizzes will always be 5 questions (10 points) and at the start of class. Get to class on time, grab a zip grade form and get started. 10 minute timer starts when bell rings.
If you miss one, the next one you take, that score will double for the one you missed. These are open note quizzes but they are TIMED. You need to know the material.
Eventually, these quizzes will be done out of class on Schoology and due on specific dates. These will still be timed.
